BetterFeed makes honest tools that help people take their attention back from feed apps. Window is the first one.
Most of us didn't decide to spend three hours a day on Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. It just happened, a few minutes at a time, in every small gap.
We tried the existing tools. Screen Time with its "Ignore Limit" button. Friction apps with their breathing exercises. Streak counters. None of them stuck. They're designed to test your willpower in the exact moment your willpower is weakest.
Window takes a different shape. You decide once, when you're clear-headed. The system holds it. There's no override, no negotiation, no daily fight with yourself.
Honesty over engagement. No dark patterns. No streak guilt. No reminders designed to keep you in our app. Window's job is to stay out of your way.
Your data lives on your device. Window runs entirely on your phone. We don't see your apps, your time windows, your usage. We can't even if we wanted to.
Build the smallest possible thing. Window does one thing: it puts feed apps inside a daily window. That's it. No features added because the roadmap looked light.
Window for iOS is in public beta. Android is next. After that, we're working on quieter ways to live with the rest of the internet too. Small tools, each with one job, each shipping when it's actually ready.
If you want to know when something new lands, leave your email on the Window page or write to us at hello@betterfeed.io.
